1. since childbith, i have been a recepient of a lot of favours frm society. I sincerely believe that serving in societies like ISACA is one way of paying back some of the favours to society. 2. With about 20 plus years of experience in IT, I currently serve the Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman as IT Governance Consultant. I have had the privelege of being associated with ISACA Muscat Chapter for about five years now and held various positions in the board more recently as the Vice President. I also had the opportunity to conduct educational programs and review classes for the chapter members.

Chapter programs are important learning and networking opportunities for chapter members. In the past few years, I have witnesses in close quarters the hard work and efforts put in by previous program directors in organising programs. Have professional certifications such as: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Have carried out duties of IT director, Training Director and Audit director at State Audit Institution and currently as an expert in State Audit Institution of Oman. Worked two years as a subject matter expert with an international organization based in Norway called IDI. Have developed, delivered and supervised training courses in IT, IT Audit and Need Assessment for Capacity Building in Oman, Qatar, India, Yemen, Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia. Have carried out IT audits in Oman, Qatar, Jordan and UAE.
